Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive, evidence‑based nursing care to mental health patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
Support and guide nursing staff and healthcare aides through supervision, mentoring, and day‑to‑day clinical leadership to ensure safe and effective practice.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic mental health services.
Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, scope of practice, organizational policies, and clinical governance requirements at all times.
Conduct mental health risk assessments, manage patients in crisis situations, and ensure timely escalation and appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and service development activities to enhance mental health care delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
DOH license holder or eligibility letter.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
Minimum 3 years in a team lead role.
